Tobacco is the only product that, used as intended, causes addiction, disease, and death.

Platte County Tobacco Prevention Program is a community-based group of volunteers who are committed to educating the public about healthy tobacco free environments and lifestyles.

Formed in 1998, we are committed to the challenge of reducing the prevalence of tobacco use in Platte County.

We are funded by a combination of Tobacco Settlement Trust Funds and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Funds. These monies are distributed through the Substance Abuse Division of the Wyoming Department of Health.
