Smokers are two times to four times more likely to get heart disease than those who don't smoke. Once you quit, your circulation improves in just a couple weeks! After one year without smoking, that two to four times more likely to develop heart disease number is cut in HALF!
That's some nice incentive to quit, and this article says that forty percent of smoker try to quit every year. Only three percent of quitters continue to be nonsmokers for a year, but there are things you can do to increase your odds.
